COVID-19
The Elkhorn Yacht Club leadership is continually working to ensure the safety of all Club members. With the rapid spread of COVID-19, we are taking precautions and direction from the orders of the County of Monterey Health Department, the State of California, and the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As a result, we have made a number of changes as follows.
Social distancing and wearing masks are a requirement. Practice social distancing by putting space between yourself and others. Face masks are required by ordinance on all parts of the property (annex, workshop, etc). Seating in any area is limited to 6 persons per table/seating arrangement. It is a requirement to wear a mask at all times when not seated or eating. This extends to all outside areas.
Clubhouse-Open
The Clubhouse is open. Members have access to the Club with their fob. Members must follow COVID-19 protocol within the Clubhouse. Our patio and outside lawn are also available for off-hours if you choose to relax out by the harbor.
Dining Service-Open
We are currently providing minimal dining experiences inside the Hearth room (50% capacity) and outside. Dining services are available Fridays from 4-8 pm and Saturdays from 2-7 pm.
